i should have known things were going far too smoothly when i managed to post 15 days in a row…one can dream…but then the reality of my crazy schedule finally kicked back in, hence my week long disappearance.

old habits are hard to break (:

may fourteenth.

i never got around to posting about this year’s met gala held in nyc last week…it’s always a star-studded night of fashion & this year proved to be no different. below, a few of my favorite looks of the night.

ms. agron = old hollywood glamour. #girlcrush

and while we’re on the subject of old hollywood…i give you, camilla belle & her art deco-ish dress. (the verdict is still out about those lips)

solange knowles: clean & simple. brilliant color. fantastic hair.

christina ricci: this dress was stunning on live tv (ergh, internet streaming)

sofia vergara: the best this funny lady has ever looked.

cate blanchett: one i always watch for; she can pull off almost anything.

and oh so many more. seriously, so many more.

may thirteenth.

why simply say good-bye when you could be much more creative:

chop, chop, lollipop (:

may twelfth.

ya win some. ya lose some. ya miss some.

i spent the twelfth hanging out w. a precious 3-month-old little guy, a good book and afternoon rain showers…

onward and upward.
